As purchased, and on the ride home.

stripped

Commercial 5th wheel, glad hands, and commercial trailer wiring connections removed.  Exhaust stack was removed and exhaust relocated to a “weedburner” configuation.  Chrome lug nut covers and baby moon axle covers installed.  Aluminum wheels and tanks have been polished.  Refrigerator, Microwave, 12 volt to 110 volt Inverter installed, 32″ Flat Screen LED TV installed, Seats, Inc. Legacy Gold air ride seats installed.

2″ receiver installed, recessed license plate area also creates a nice step up on the bed.  All holes have been cut for LED lighting.

welded seams

All seams on the bed are tight, clean, and fully welded.  All cross members on the bed are on 16″ centers, decking is 3/16 tread plate steel.

stake pockets rub rails

This bed was created for utility as well as RV travel.  Stake pockets and rub rails were installed for unlimited tie down capability, in addition to adding Stake Sides if needed or wanted.  The bed length is just shy of 18′ and was custom designed to haul a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.  Depending on the truck, and owners needs different size and styles of beds are available.  Fully skirted beds full of storage boxes are possible.  Drom boxes are also available options instead of a headache rack as shown here.

bare bed

Bare bed ready for primer.  Notice the flip up doors.  In that channel holds what we call EZ Slide Ramps.  They are very easy to deploy and stow.  Once the ramps are deployed, the doors flip down giving a bridge for the vehicle being loaded to come up onto the deck with ease.  Notice the Heavy Duty D rings for safety chain connection.

red oxide primer

3 coats of red oxide primer, nearly ready for top coat of the choice of customers color.  This one is getting black.
